In Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) food is not just the way to ones heart, but also used as medicine, as the first step in treating any illness or imbalance. As a TCM practitioner over the last 5 years I have discovered that the most basic and sensible knowledge about diet and health is not available for most people. Therefore and because it brings me great hope and pleasure, I will through this course pass on and teach you, basic TCM diet theory and principals that are rooted in Daoism. At this course you will learn about the functions of your body and about why the body becomes ill (aches, why it can not sleep, concentrate, is constipated, has mania, stress, anxiety) and how you can use the tools of TCM to prevent and treat those illnesses. My vision is to empower you as an individual so that you can take care of your self and your loved ones if needed. Basically to restore and reestablish our native knowledge by giving you basic and easily accessible tools you can apply in your daily life. “Each one teach one ” Inspired by the amazing civil rights activists Black Panthers, Young lords and Dr. Mutulu Shakur, who used TCM as a movement to support their communities in the Bronx, I wish to also contribute to the social justice work of this world by teaching you the basic tools of TCM. Program: • 11 modules over 11 months • Online teaching over zoom • 2 days a month/6 hours each day • You will receive pamphlets and videos (where relevant) for every module. • Classes will be recorded so that you can re-watch them if you are not able to make it to class or just need to review. • Homework, practical work and tests will be part of this process to support and help you integrate the teachings and theories. • To practice as you learn, and integrate the teachings on a deeper level, you will have to use your self and to others who will follow you all 10 month as guinea pigs of food and live style changes. (more about that in class) Payment: • 599kr pr. Month + one time registration fee 1111kr -Registration fee covers the cost of the pamphlets and videos.
